About Me

I’m DJ Rich. I work on machine learning and algorithms, and I enjoy explaining the ideas behind them.

Previously, I spent five years at Lyft as a machine learning research scientist, developing pricing, forecasting, and planning algorithms. Before that, I worked in the hedge fund industry modeling risk and credit portfolios. I hold a Master’s in Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley.
